Summary

Winnebago Industries, Inc. is recalling 11,982 recreational vehicles across multiple model lines including Sightseer, Forza, Vista, Sunstar, Adventurer, Commercial Vehicle, Suncruiser, and Solei from various years between 2014 and 2028. The adhesive used to mount the hood brackets may have been incorrectly applied, which can cause the bracket to detach from the vehicle. Winnebago dealers will inspect and repair affected units free of charge to ensure the hoods remain securely attached.

Risk

A detached hood bracket can cause the hood to become loose or fall off while the vehicle is in motion, creating a significant road hazard for other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash.
