Summary

Vantage Mobility, LLC is recalling approximately 1,019 modified 2021-2026 Honda Odyssey, 2021-2025 Chrysler Pacifica, and Toyota Sienna vehicles. These vans are equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints that may fail to lock as intended. This defect prevents wheelchairs from being properly secured inside the vehicle. Dealers will perform a free inspection and replace the retractors if necessary.

Risk

If the wheelchair retractors do not lock, the wheelchair can move unexpectedly during transit. This increases the risk of injury to the wheelchair occupant and other passengers in the event of sudden stops or collisions.

  2. Owners should verify if their wheelchair-accessible vehicle uses the QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max restraint systems.
