Summary

Rollx Vans is recalling approximately 86 wheelchair-accessible vehicles, including certain GMC Yukon, Ford Transit, Toyota Sienna, and Chrysler Pacifica models, equipped with Q'Straint QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The wheelchair retractors in these vehicles may fail to lock, which prevents the wheelchair from being properly secured during travel. If the wheelchair is not secured, it can move unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion, which increases the risk of injury to the occupant or other passengers. Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the faulty retractors free of charge.

Risk

The wheelchair retractors may not lock correctly, allowing a wheelchair to move during transit. This unsecured movement significantly increases the risk of injury during sudden stops, turns, or crashes.
