These vehicles are equipped with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraints where the locking retractor may fail to function correctly. A dealer will inspect and replace the wheelchair restraint retractor as necessary, free of charge.
If the wheelchair restraint retractor fails to lock, a wheelchair cannot be properly secured to the vehicle. This can allow the wheelchair to move during transit, which significantly increases the risk of injury to the wheelchair occupant and other passengers.
