Summary

Orange EV is recalling approximately 968 of its 2023-2025 HUSK-e and e-TRIEVER trucks, along with 2022-2024 T-Series trucks. The recall was issued because the bolts used to secure the upper steering shaft clamp may not have been tightened correctly during the manufacturing process. Orange EV service technicians will replace the upper steering shaft clamp bolts for all affected vehicles free of charge.

Risk

If the steering shaft bolts are loose, the steering system components could separate while the vehicle is in motion. This would lead to a total loss of steering control, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.
