Summary

Nova Bus (US) Inc. is recalling approximately 45 of its 2022-2023 LFS buses. A digital display firmware error can cause the dashboard indicator lights to stay solidly lit even when the turn signals are actually turned off. This failure to correctly display the status of the turn signals means the vehicles do not comply with federal safety standards for lighting equipment. Nova Bus will update the digital display firmware free of charge to resolve the issue.

Risk

If the dashboard indicator light stays lit, the driver cannot tell if the turn signals are functioning correctly. This lack of information for the driver increases the risk of a crash.
