Summary

Ferrari North America is recalling 614 of its 2022-2024 SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider hybrid electric vehicles. The turbocharger oil delivery pipe in these vehicles may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause oil to leak from the engine system. Owners are advised to stop driving these vehicles immediately until the necessary repair is completed by an authorized dealer. To fix the issue, dealers will replace the turbocharger oil delivery pipes with a correctly manufactured part at no cost to the owner.

Risk

The defect allows oil to leak onto hot engine components; if this oil comes into contact with an ignition source, it can cause a vehicle fire. Because of this high risk, owners must not drive or operate the vehicle until it has been serviced.

What You Should Do

  1. Stop driving this vehicle immediately and park it until the recall repair is completed.
  2. Check your vehicle's model and year to see if it is a 2022-2024 Ferrari SF90 Stradale or SF90 Spider.
  3. Contact an authorized Ferrari dealer to schedule a free replacement of the turbocharger oil delivery pipes.
  4. If you have additional questions, contact Ferrari customer service at 1-201-816-2668 and reference recall number RC 86.
  5. Contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov for further information.
