Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 250,079 vehicles, specifically 2020-2023 Ram 2500 and 2020-2022 Ram 3500 trucks. Excessive heat and pressure can build up inside the transmission, forcing fluid to leak out of the dipstick tube. If this fluid leaks onto hot engine parts or other ignition sources, it can cause a vehicle fire. Dealers will replace the transmission dipstick and vent assembly for free to resolve this issue.
