Summary

General Motors is recalling approximately 90,081 vehicles, including 2019-2020 Cadillac CT6, 2020-2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5, and 2020-2022 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with 10-speed transmissions. The transmission may suffer internal damage that can cause the vehicle's wheels to lock up suddenly while driving. Dealers will install new transmission control module monitoring software free of charge to address the issue.

Risk

Internal transmission damage can lead to a sudden lock-up of the wheels while the vehicle is in motion. This condition significantly increases the risk of losing control of the vehicle and experiencing a crash.
