Summary

Panline USA is recalling about 8,000 Alex Model 786X Little Jumpers Trampolines designed for toddlers. The handlebar on these trampolines can break unexpectedly while a child is jumping, which can cause the child to fall. While no injuries have been reported, consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact the firm for a free replacement trampoline. These products were sold at independent toy and retail stores nationwide between January and March 2012.

Risk

The yellow and blue handlebar can snap or break during use, causing a child to lose their balance and fall off the trampoline, potentially leading to impact injuries.

What You Should Do

  1. Check the underside of the orange padding for a white sewn-in label that reads '786X Little Jumpers Trampoline' and look for the specific product code printed underneath the barcode.
  2. Verify if your trampoline has one of the following affected codes: 21011-P0003070, 21011-P0003246, 25511-P0003071, 27811-P0003372, 29811-P0003373, or 34211-P0003375.
  3. Immediately stop using any affected trampoline and move it out of reach of children.
  4. Contact Panline USA (Alex Toys) at (800) 666-2539 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.alextoys.com/safety for instructions on how to receive a free replacement trampoline.
