Summary

Horizon Global is recalling approximately 145,431 Reese Hitch Receiver Locks, specifically part numbers 7057030, 7057230, 7057033, 7054630, and 7057130. The cap on the lock can become loose and separate from the pin, which may lead to the towed vehicle detaching. Dealers will replace the affected hitch receiver locks free of charge.

A separated cap can allow the hitch to fully detach from the vehicle, causing the towed vehicle to separate while in motion and significantly increasing the risk of a crash.
