Summary

SAF-Holland is recalling 4,906 CBXA40 and ULX40 Suspension Systems equipped with Tire Pilot Plus (TPP) management systems. While driving at speeds faster than 45 mph, all eight tires on the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of air pressure. To fix this safety defect, SAF-Holland will provide replacement tire hoses, an ECU harness, and updated ECU programming free of charge.

Risk

A sudden loss of tire pressure while driving at highway speeds can cause the vehicle to become unstable or lead to tire tread separation. These conditions significantly increase the risk of a crash or loss of vehicle control.
