The Furniture Connexion Recalls Modavari Forrest Live Edge Benches Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

Summary

The Furniture Connexion is recalling approximately 5,400 Modavari Forrest Live Edge Benches (Model LE6) because they can tip over while in use. There have been 12 reports of the benches tipping or being unstable, resulting in two injuries including a head injury and a toe injury. These benches were sold at Fred Meyer and Smith’s Marketplace stores nationwide from December 2017 through March 2020 for about $300. Consumers should stop using the bench immediately and contact the manufacturer for a free repair kit.

Risk
