Summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is recalling about 1,660 E-Z-GO ELiTE Express S6 and L6 PTVs, along with Tracker OX EV vehicles, sold between January and July 2023. The internal motor wiring in these vehicles can become damaged over time, which can lead to the vehicle moving unintentionally. This unexpected movement poses a crash hazard to the driver and bystanders. One incident of unexpected movement has been reported, though no injuries have occurred. Owners should immediately stop using the vehicles and contact a dealer for a free repair.

Risk

The internal motor wiring can fail or become damaged, causing the golf cart or utility vehicle to move on its own without driver input. This unintentional movement can result in a crash, potentially causing serious physical injury.
