Summary

BMW of North America is recalling 51 of its 2024-2025 M 1000 XR and M 1000 R motorcycles because of a defect in the steering damper. A valve pin within the damper housing may be loose, which can cause a sudden and unexpected increase in the physical effort required to steer the motorcycle. Owners can have the steering damper replaced by a dealer at no cost.
