Summary

Approximately 580,000 WarmWave and Hunter 18-inch 1,500-Watt Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heaters have been recalled because the power cord and plug can overheat during use. This defect has resulted in eight reports of fire at the plug or cord and dozens of reports of the units overheating, causing minor property damage. The affected black heaters feature two heat settings and an automatic shutoff and were sold at Home Depot, Amazon, and eBay from September 2013 through February 2022.
