Summary

KTM North America, Inc. is recalling 2,512 motorcycles, including 2025 390 Adventure R, 390 SMC R, 390 Adventure X, and 390 Enduro R models. Engine vibrations can cause the side stand spring to break, which allows the side stand to fall to the ground while the motorcycle is in motion. If this happens, the safety sensor will shut off the ignition, and dealers will replace the side stand spring and install a new sensor retaining plate free of charge.

Risk

If the side stand falls while riding, the engine will automatically shut off. This sudden loss of power while the motorcycle is in motion increases the risk of a crash or injury to the rider.
