Schneider Electric has recalled approximately 1.4 million Square D QO Plug-On Neutral Load Centers, also known as electrical panels or breaker boxes. These panels, which were sold in various sizes and installed in homes, RVs, and commercial buildings, can overheat. This defect poses a significant risk of thermal burns and fire.   3. Immediately contact Schneider Electric at 888-778-2733 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at www.se.com/us/qoloadcenter-safetyrecallnotice to arrange for a free inspection by a trained electrician.
  4. If the inspection confirms the panel is part of the recall, the electrician will provide a free repair or replacement; for uninstalled products, contact Schneider Electric directly for a free replacement.
