Affected products were distributed to retailers and foodservice establishments and were sold in various clear plastic containers and bags.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea; it can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
