Summary

Prevost Car (US) Inc. is recalling 93 vehicles, including 2023-2024 H3-45 and 2022-2024 H3-45 VIP models, because the right front turn signal and hazard warning lights may fail to activate. This defect means the vehicles do not comply with federal safety standards for lighting and reflective equipment. Prevost will install enhanced headlight wiring with additional resistors to fix the issue at no cost to owners.

Risk

When a turn signal fails, other drivers are not notified of a turning vehicle, and inoperative hazard lights reduce the vehicle's visibility to others, both of which significantly increase the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle's make, model, and year to see if it is a 2023-2024 H3-45 or a 2022-2024 H3-45 VIP.
  2. Test your right front turn signal and hazard warning lights to ensure they are currently operational, but be aware they may still fail during future use until the repair is completed.
  3. Contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046 to schedule a free repair; reference recall number SR23-19.
  4. Visit an authorized Prevost service center to have the enhanced headlight wiring and additional resistors installed free of charge.
  5. For additional information, contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
