Summary

Blue Bird Body Company is recalling 91 of its 2024-2025 All American school buses. These vehicles were manufactured with incorrect wiring that reverses the high and low beam headlight functions, which also causes the high beam indicator on the dashboard to display incorrectly. This defect means the buses fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108 regarding lighting equipment.

Risk

Because the wiring is reversed, a driver may unintentionally activate the high beams when they intend to use low beams, potentially blinding oncoming motorists and increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
