Summary

REV Recreation Group is recalling approximately 12 motorhomes from the 2026 model year, including Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Admiral, and Fleetwood Flair, Fortis, and Bounder models. A defect in the furnace can create an electrical signal that causes the generator to turn on unexpectedly without owner intervention. Dealers will install a relay harness to correct this issue free of charge.

Risk

If the generator turns on unexpectedly while the vehicle is in an enclosed space like a garage, it can lead to a dangerous buildup of carbon monoxide, increasing the risk of injury or death from poisoning. Owners are advised to park their vehicles outdoors until the repair is completed.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your motorhome is one of the affected 2026 models: Holiday Rambler (Vacationer, Admiral) or Fleetwood (Flair, Fortis, Bounder).
  2. Park this vehicle outdoors, away from structures — do NOT park in a garage due to fire and carbon monoxide risks.
  3. Contact REV Recreation Group customer service at 1-800-322-8216 to schedule a free installation of a relay harness. Refer to recall number 260422REV.
  4. Call the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov for more information.
