Summary

Winnebago Industries, Inc. is recalling approximately 57 of its 2023-2024 Commercial Vehicles that were built with a removable step assembly. The mounting bolts used to secure the clip-on bracket can work themselves loose over time, which may result in the steps detaching from the vehicle during use. Winnebago dealers will inspect the step assembly and either repair or replace the clip-on bracket at no cost to owners.

Risk

The removable steps can detach while a person is stepping on them, which significantly increases the risk of a fall and serious injury.
