Summary

Porsche Cars North America is recalling approximately 172,107 vehicles, including 2019-2025 Cayenne, 2020-2025 911 and Taycan, and 2024-2025 Panamera models. In these vehicles, the rearview camera image may fail to display on the dashboard screen when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. Dealers will perform a free software update for the driver assistance system to ensure the rearview camera functions correctly.

Risk

If the rearview camera image does not display, the driver's visibility behind the vehicle is significantly reduced. This failure to show rear surroundings increases the risk of a crash or injury to pedestrians and property while backing up.
