Summary

Oshkosh Corporation is recalling 144 units of the 2025 Defense NGDV ICE vehicle. The rearview camera in these vehicles may fail to display an image when the driver shifts into reverse, which violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111. To resolve this safety issue, Oshkosh will replace the vehicle's head units at no cost to the owner.

Risk

A blank rearview camera display significantly reduces the driver’s visibility of the area behind the vehicle. This failure increases the likelihood of a collision or striking a pedestrian while backing up.
