Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 149,449 Bronco vehicles from the 2021-2024 model years. The rear shock absorbers on these vehicles may corrode and fail, which can cause the external reservoir to completely detach from the vehicle. Dealers will replace the affected rear shock absorbers free of charge to ensure vehicle safety.

Risk

If the external shock absorber reservoir detaches while the vehicle is in motion, it becomes a road hazard for other motorists, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.
