Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 7,875 of its 2023-2024 Bronco and Bronco Heritage vehicles because the rear quarter glass panels may have been improperly installed on the hard top. This defect can allow the glass panels to loosen or completely detach from the vehicle while driving. Ford dealers will inspect the glass panels and either reinstall or replace them at no cost to the owner. Letters were mailed to Bronco owners starting June 6, 2024, and to Bronco Heritage owners starting June 12, 2024.

Risk

If the rear glass panels detach while the vehicle is in motion, they can fall into the roadway and create a significant hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your vehicle is a 2023-2024 Ford Bronco or 2023-2024 Ford Bronco Heritage.
