Summary

Triumph Motorcycles America is recalling 3,557 of its 2020-2024 Rocket 3 TFC, Rocket 3 R, Rocket 3 GT, Rocket 3 GT Triple Black, and Rocket 3 R Black motorcycles. The rear brake master cylinder in these vehicles may fail to move fluid through the braking system correctly, which can result in the motorcycle requiring an much longer distance to come to a complete stop. Owners can take their motorcycle to an authorized Triumph dealer to have the rear brake master cylinder replaced with a new part free of charge.

Risk

If the rear brake master cylinder fails to move fluid properly, the rear brakes will not engage effectively, leading to extended stopping distances. This failure to stop within expected distances significantly increases the risk of a crash.

  2. Contact an authorized Triumph dealer to schedule a free replacement of the rear brake master cylinder.
  3. If you have questions, contact Triumph's customer service department at 1-678-854-2010 and reference recall number SRAN 611.
