Summary

RDG Global is recalling about 2,600 girls' olive green-colored hooded sweatshirts sold exclusively at Nordstrom. These sweatshirts feature a drawstring in the hood which can become entangled or caught on objects like playground slides, handrails, or school bus doors. The sweatshirts were sold in girls' sizes Small (6-7), Medium (8-10), and Large (12) between November 2016 and January 2017. Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring or return the garment for a full refund.

Risk

The hood's drawstring poses a significant strangulation or entanglement hazard to children if it gets caught on moving objects or playground equipment. No incidents or injuries have been reported to date.
