PT Farm, LLC is recalling approximately 8,800 pounds of raw beef products, including ground beef, ground beef patties, and various sub-primal cuts, that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. Risk

E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially deadly bacterium that causes dehydration, bloody diarrhea, and severe abdominal cramps. In some cases, infection can lead to hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a serious type of kidney failure that is most common in young children and older adults. 14 people have already been reported ill in connection with these beef products.
