Summary

Winnebago Industries is recalling approximately 696 recreational vehicles from the 2025 model year, including the Minnie Winnie, Navion, Porto, Spirit, View, and Vita. The mounting bracket fasteners for the liquid propane (LP) gas tank may have been improperly tightened during manufacturing, which can cause the tank to loosen and eventually detach from the vehicle. Winnebago dealers will inspect and correctly tighten the LP tank mounting hardware for all affected owners at no cost.

Risk

A propane tank that detaches from a moving vehicle becomes an immediate road hazard for other motorists, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.
