General Motors is recalling approximately 9,423 Webasto Portable Charging Cords (Gen 3) provided with certain vehicles. These charging cords, identified by part number 24044913, contain a software error that may prevent the device from automatically stopping the electrical flow if the ground connection is lost. General Motors dealers will inspect and replace affected charging cords with a corrected version at no cost to owners.
