Summary

Polaris Industries is recalling approximately 1,400 Model Year 2023-2024 Ranger XP Kinetic Recreational Off-Road Vehicles (ROVs). High voltage cables on the motor controller unit can become loose, causing them to arc or overheat. This defect has led to one report of fire and unintended acceleration, and six reports of components melting, though no injuries have been reported.
