What You Should Do

1. Identify your product by checking the packaging for the brand names 'MONTRAIL BISON' or 'MONTRAIL BISON LLC.' and the flavor (Lemon Chile, Teriyaki, Sweet and Spicy, Old Fashioned, or Wild Sticks).
2. Check the back of the package for the USDA mark of inspection containing the establishment number 'EST. 4160' inside a triangle.
3. Verify the use-by date on your 3-oz or 4-oz plastic bag falls between May 3, 2018, and June 15, 2020.
4. Return the product to the place of purchase for a refund, throw it away, or contact People's Sausage Co. President Mark Bianchetti at (213) 627-8633 for further instructions.
5. Call the USDA Meat & Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 if you have additional food safety questions.
