Summary

Pedego is recalling about 400 Fat Tire Trikes because the aluminum frame can develop hairline fractures near the welds. This defect can cause the frame tubes to separate while in use, leading to potential falls and injuries. Pedego has received 16 reports of the frame breaking, including one report of a leg laceration. These matte black three-wheeled electric tricycles were sold at Pedego stores and online from March 2024 through March 2025.
