Summary

Ferrari is recalling 13 vehicles, including 2021-2023 SF90 Coupe and 2022 SF90 Spider hybrid electric models, because the passenger seat (size M) is incompatible with child seats. When a child seat is installed, the deployment of the passenger airbag may impact the seat, failing to meet federal safety standards. Ferrari dealers will replace the affected size M passenger seats with size XL passenger seats at no cost to owners.

Risk

If the passenger airbag deploys while a child seat is installed, the force of the impact against the child seat can significantly increase the risk of injury to the child.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle records or contact a dealer to determine if your 2021-2023 Ferrari SF90 Coupe or 2022 SF90 Spider is equipped with a size M passenger seat.
