Aston Martin The Americas: 2023-2024 DBX707 Vehicles Recalled for Bursting Oil Hose

Summary

Aston Martin is recalling 720 of its 2023-2024 DBX707 luxury SUVs because an oil hose for the engine's oil cooler may suddenly burst. This defect causes an immediate loss of engine oil and oil pressure while the vehicle is in operation. To fix the issue, authorized dealers will replace the affected oil cooler hoses with improved parts free of charge.

Risk

A bursting oil hose results in a sudden loss of oil and oil pressure, which can cause the engine to stall or seize completely. This leads to a high risk of a crash or an engine compartment fire if the oil contacts hot engine surfaces.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your vehicle is a 2023 or 2024 Aston Martin DBX707.
  2. Contact an authorized Aston Martin dealer to schedule a free appointment to have the oil cooler hoses replaced.
  3. If you have questions, contact Aston Martin customer service at 1-888-923-9988 and mention recall number RA-03-1926.
  4. For additional information, contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
