These products were manufactured under conditions whereby they could be contaminated with organisms of public health concerns, particularly Clostridium botulinum, an organism that produces the toxin responsible for botulism poisoning.

Distribution: GFS Mexican style chili beans were distributed to foodservice customers in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin and sold through GFS Marketplace stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.  Kitchen brand  green beans were distributed to a Michigan restaurant and to food service in Florida, Michigan, New Jersey and South Carolina.  Great Value dark red kidney beans were sold at Wal-Mart Stores in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.
