What You Should Do

1. Check your cat food packaging for the following UPC codes: 17800 11320 (Purina Cat Chow Naturals 6.3-lb.), 50000 08450 (Friskies Grillers' Blend 3.15-lb.), or 50000 57578 (Friskies Grillers' Blend 16-lb.).
2. Confirm if your product is one of the affected bags by checking the recall numbers: V-400-2011 for Cat Chow or V-401-2011 for Friskies.
3. Immediately stop feeding the affected food to your pets and secure it in a sealed container or bag to prevent further exposure.
4. Return the affected product to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact Nestle Purina PetCare Co for further instructions.
5. Thoroughly wash and sanitize any pet bowls, storage containers, or surfaces that came into contact with the recalled food.
6. Monitor your pet for symptoms of Salmonella and contact your veterinarian if they show signs of illness.
