Michaels Recalls Pottery Wheel Kits Due to Fire and Burn Hazard

Michaels is recalling about 263,000 Creatology® pottery wheel kits because the battery compartment can overheat. This defect has resulted in two reports of incidents, including one fire in the battery compartment. The 16-piece kit includes a blue battery-operated pottery wheel, clay, tools, and paints, and was sold at Michaels stores and online between August 2011 and February 2018.
