What You Should Do

1. Check your pet food packaging for the brand names listed in this recall, including Iams, Eukanuba, Nutro, Authority, Ol' Roy, and various grocery store brands like America's Choice, Food Lion, and Publix.
2. Carefully match the product description, container size (e.g., 5.3 oz pouches, 13.2 oz cans, or 22 oz cans), and UPC codes against the list of affected products.
3. Verify the 'Best By' or date codes on the bottom of cans or the back of pouches; affected dates generally range from late 2008 for pouches through early 2010 for cans.
4. If you have any of the listed products, stop feeding them to your pets immediately and dispose of the food in a way that other animals cannot access it.
5. Return the unused portion of the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact the manufacturer for further instructions.
6. If your pet has consumed any of the recalled food and shows signs of illness, such as loss of appetite, vomiting, or lethargy, contact your veterinarian immediately.
