What You Should Do

1. Identify if you have any of the affected dry pet food brands: Special Kitty (Gourmet Blend, Original, or Kitten), Ol' Roy (Puppy Complete, Complete Nutrition, High Performance, or Meaty Chunks & Gravy), Berkley & Jensen (Bistro Blend or Small Bites & Bones), or Shop Rite (Crunchy Bites, Bones and Healthy Squares).
2. Check the bag size and Recall Number to confirm your product is part of this recall; specific bag sizes affected include 3.5 lb, 4 lb, 4.4 lb, 7 lb, 8 lb, 18 lb, 20 lb, 21.6 lb, 22 lb, 44.1 lb, 50 lb, and 52 lb.
3. Immediately stop feeding the recalled product to your pets and store it in a secure container away from children and animals.
4. Thoroughly wash your hands after handling any of the recalled pet food, and sanitize any surfaces or bowls that may have come into contact with the product.
5. Return the affected product to the Wal-Mart or place of purchase for a full refund or contact MARS Petcare US, Inc. for further instructions.
