Magnolia Market is recalling about 4,350 of its 26 oz. 3-Wick Glass Candles because they were manufactured with the incorrect wax. This defect can cause the wicks to produce excessive flames, which can lead to the glass container breaking. There have been 13 reports of high flames causing the glass to shatter, resulting in four cases of minor property damage. These frosted white glass candles were sold in LINEN, GREENHOUSE, and STAY A WHILE scents.
The incorrect wax causes the candles to burn with excessively high flames that can crack or shatter the glass jar. This creates a risk of fire and injuries from sharp glass fragments.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and contact Magnolia for a full refund. Consumers who purchased the candles online will be contacted directly. Magnolia Market is directly contacting all known purchasers.
