Improperly secured bolts may cause the half-shaft to disconnect from the drive unit, which can lead to a sudden loss of drive power. Lucid will replace the affected bolts with new ones free of charge at authorized service centers.
If the half-shaft disconnects while the vehicle is in motion, the car will lose drive power, significantly increasing the risk of a crash. No incidents or injuries have been reported to date.
