Summary

Hyundai Motor America is recalling approximately 8 units of the 2025 IONIQ 5 electric vehicle. Certain rear suspension alignment adjustment bolts may have been improperly tightened during manufacturing. To fix this, dealers will replace the adjustment bolts, perform a wheel alignment, and replace the tires if necessary, all free of charge.

Risk

Improperly tightened suspension bolts can cause the vehicle to lose stability control. This makes the car much harder to handle and significantly increases the risk of a crash.
