Summary

Osage Industries, Inc. is recalling 14 emergency vehicles, specifically 2022 Ford E450 Super Warrior, F450 Warrior, and F550 Super Warrior models. These vehicles are equipped with a Weldon V-mux Hercules HC Node 1.5 (part number 6060-1000-00) which contains an extra resistor on the circuit board that can cause the vehicle's lighting to fail entirely. Osage is notifying owners and dealers will replace the affected electrical nodes free of charge.

Risk

The faulty circuit board can disrupt internal communication within the vehicle, leading to a sudden loss of exterior lighting. This failure significantly reduces the driver's visibility and makes the vehicle less visible to others, which increases the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle's documentation or contact your fleet manager to determine if your 2022 Ford E450 Super Warrior, F450 Warrior, or F550 Super Warrior is equipped with the Weldon V-mux Hercules HC Node 1.5 (part number 6060-1000-00).
  2. If your vehicle is affected, contact Osage Industries customer service at 1-800-822-3634 to schedule a free replacement of the Hercules nodes.
  3. You may also contact your local dealer to arrange for the repair at no cost to you.
