Summary

Volkswagen is recalling approximately 13,769 vehicles, including certain 2024-2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron SUV, 2024-2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron Sportback, and 2024 ID.4 models. The on-board charger (OCDC) in these vehicles may fail and stop charging the 12-volt battery. If this happens, the vehicle can experience a sudden loss of drive power while in motion. Dealers will replace the faulty charging unit with a new one free of charge.

Risk

A sudden loss of drive power while driving increases the risk of a crash as the vehicle may lose its ability to maintain speed or move with traffic.
