Summary

Little Tikes is recalling approximately 540,000 pink 2-in-1 Snug 'n Secure toddler swings because the plastic seat can crack or break during use. There have been about 140 reports of the swings breaking, resulting in 39 injuries to children including head bumps, cuts, bruises, and two reports of broken arms. These pink swings feature a T-shaped restraint and were sold at Walmart, Toys "R" Us, and other retailers nationwide from November 2009 through May 2014 for about $25. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled swings and contact the manufacturer for a credit towards a new product.

Risk

The plastic seat can suddenly crack or break while a child is swinging, causing the child to fall to the ground and suffer impact injuries such as fractures, lacerations, or head trauma.
