Summary

Host Industries is recalling 121 model year 2022-2025 Mammoth, Yukon, Cascade, Tahoe, and Everest trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range can fail, leading it to overheat and potentially catch fire. Owners should contact their dealer to have the LED circuit disabled or removed for a free permanent fix.

Risk

The circuit board powering the LED lights on the cooktop range can overheat due to a component failure. If the board reaches high temperatures, it significantly increases the risk of a fire inside the trailer.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your trailer is affected by checking your registration for the following Host Industries models: 2022-2025 Host Mammoth, Yukon, Cascade, Tahoe, or Everest.
  2. Contact Host Industries customer service at 1-541-330-2328 (extension 5) to confirm your vehicle is part of the recall and to locate an authorized dealer.
  3. Schedule a service appointment with an authorized dealer to have the LED backlight circuit cut and the wiring terminated, or have the LED backlights removed entirely, free of charge.
  4. For additional information, you may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls.
