Summary

L.L. Bean is recalling about 2,000 toddler sweater fleece pullovers sold in sizes 2T, 3T, and 4T. The snaps on the front of these pullovers can detach, creating a small part that children can choke on. These garments were sold in deep garnet (red), heather gray, and light lilac colors with blue trim and two pockets between April 2017 and August 2017. L.L. Bean is offering a full refund to all affected customers.

Risk

The four snaps on the front of the sweater can break off or detach from the fabric. If a small child swallows or inhales a detached snap, it poses a serious choking hazard.

  2. Check the woven tag attached to the neckline for item number 300206 and lot number 02/17 to confirm your product is part of the recall.
  3. Identify if your pullover is size 2T, 3T, or 4T and features one of the affected colors: deep garnet (red), heather gray, or light lilac.
